Drainage Cell, when wrapped in geotextile fabric, provides a permanent, structural and non-clogging void between the building structure and the soil profile that will not collapse or distort.

The void enables a direct flow of water to designated outlets, resulting in superior drainage efficiency compared to conventional gravel filled systems. Suited to a wide variety of uses, from providing relief to saturated sports fields through to sub surface drainage for driveways, retaining walls and basement waterproofing.

Installation

• Place the Drainage Cell over the surface of your geotextile.
• Interlock the cells as you install them one by one.
• Cut the drainage cells to size or shape if required
• Lay more geotextile fabric over the top of the cells, allowing for an overlap on each side, and extra to cushion the edges of the cell.
• If installing vertically, ensure the geo-textile membrane runs alongside it.
• Lay a 50–100mm layer of sand as a filtering layer over the geotextile, then add your soil layer.
